We are in the middle of saying goodbye to my Grampie. He has been in a nursing home for the past 5 years and it has been difficult watching him disappear slowly from us. Thankfully he has a strong relationship with his maker and I am so thankful that I will see him again in a much better place. Still, Goodbyes are hard. He was an amazing Grampie and I am so blessed to have had him in my life. Thank you Grampie for all the love you shared with me while you were here. No more tears, no more pain:).

We never had the chance to tell Grampie about our plans to adopt, but I'm sure that he knows now. I only wish we had more time with you here, but you were so ready to go home. We love you.

Great News Today. Our File is in Ethiopia. Sooooo Exciting. I know we are still on the long side of the wait, but it is so exciting to see the process take place. So much is really out of our control. Things have gone so smoothly for us that we keep waiting for something to happen. That however is my worry side. So I choose to say thank-you instead. This is great news to receive on Mike's Birthday. Happy Birthday Baby.
